Unfortunately, what’s often missing is a chance to step out of the everyday and to focus on what you feel in a positive way, rather than the endless ruminations that get you nowhere.
Imagine spending a day in a calm and nurturing atmosphere with time to reflect, to begin to release unhelpful habits of thought and behaviour and to move towards new ways of being.
My colleague and fellow practitioner have pooled our years of experience to create a day of gentle activities, designed to support you as you reflect, release and renew how you feel about yourself, among a group of like-minded souls.
o Discover the simple, self-help tools of EFT and how you may use them to shift old patterns that no longer serve you.
o Learn some gentle energy exercises for release and renewal.
o A guided meditation – intended to support your process of self-acceptance and release. (Includes a little Reiki.)
o Walk the Labyrinth. What will you leave behind in the centre of the Labyrinth – and what will you take forward from this contemplative journey?
o Time to work creatively, journaling or with the art materials provided, to clarify the new habits you would like to shape.
o The final meditation is designed to bring together all the strands of the day to enable you to carry your new vision home.
o There will be a chance to discuss and share your experience of the day before you finally set off.
The Wisdom Centre nestles close to the Abbey in Romsey and offers a tranquil setting for our day, supported by welcoming and helpful staff who will be busily producing our wholesome and delicious lunch of soup, cheese and fruit. A variety of teas and coffee are available throughout the day, with homemade cake for the afternoon break. (NB You can let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.)
Doors open at 9:30am for tea or coffee and settling in. We’ll begin promptly at 10am, to ensure a finish at 5pm.
